For the past two months (not to mention, subtly, since September) my sixth graders' lives have been filled with the the pressure of "bubble testing."
It's a sad reality--but we have changed our focus from "test ready" to "a quest for excellence."
For my students, their choice of seventh grade classes and the option of electives depends on their test results.
This morning, they will arrive at school to find good luck messages and little treats--and a hug and well wishes from their teacher.
We've been closing each day with this video.
I know it will be playing in their heads as it is playing in mine...
Good luck to anyone still testing.
I know that I am not alone in delighting in the fact this "adventure" will soon be done!
